PABLO MIRÓ CORTEZ
Bio
Born in Karlsruhe, Germany, Pablo Miró Cortez have been an outstanding pianist in various international venues, particularly in Chile, United States, France, Germany, Brazil, Canada, Poland and Mexico.
Over the years he has attended the chairs of Elizabeth Leonskaja (Russia-Austria), George Moradian (Armenia), Halina Czerny-Stefańska (Poland), Stefan Wojtas (Poland), Dominique Merlet (France), Miguel Proença (Brazil), Edith Orloff (USA), Paul Stewart (Canada) and Jean-Eudes Vaillancourt (Canada).
He regularly participates at international festivals, including European Chamber Music (Poland), Chopin Festival in the colors of Autumn (Poland), The Musical weeks of Frutillar (Chile), the International Forum of New Music Manuel Enríquez (Mexico), Vertice Festival (UNAM), as well as various concerts in Czech, Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary, Switzerland, France, Canada and Mexico.
In May 2015, he completed a music doctorate with a specialization in interpretation on The Piano Works of Max Reger at the University of Montreal, Canada. He currently works as a professor in the chair of piano at the Higher School of music of the National Centre of Arts (INBAL), at the School of Arts of the University Anahuac Mexico and as a solo pianist and chamber musician.
